Our mission is to cultivate resilient, sustainable futures for our communities, with a focus on food access, education and building equity. Join us in our journey towards this vision.
OUR INITIATIVES
Agricultural Programs
Our Education Exchange Program focuses on sustainable farming practices, providing training and resources to empower communities and enhance food security. Through these workshop series, we aim to promote community resilience, food security, and sustainable agricultural methods.
Equity Focused Housing
Our Subsidized Housing for Farmers Program provides supportive housing for those willing to steward the land, grow food, and provide community workshops and events. Tenants' rent is returned to them at the end of their lease to meet their housing goals that build resilient, food secure communities.
Community Resilience
Contributing to resilient communities is at the core of our mission. Using this transformative model we frame housing and urban agriculture not as competitive land uses, but to simultaneously prevent homelessness and build urban agriculture through subsidizing rent on a small urban sanctuary.
