Subsidized Housing for Urban Farmers Program
Our Subsidized Housing for Farmers Program is more than just a housing solution. It’s a community-driven initiative that provides urban farmers with a clear pathway to homeownership, nurtures local food production, and ensures that long-time residents can remain a vital part of their neighborhoods.
How it Works
Become a Participant
The Subsidized Housing for Farmers program prioritizes those who experience systemic barriers to home ownership, including: women and femmes, formerly unhoused folks, 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and single mothers.

This program is ideal for those who already have a passion for growing food, and want to align that skill with a pathway to home ownership or a land lease.
Community Resilience Model
Our programs adapt the community resilience model by weaving together affordable housing, healthy food access, and mutual support. Through integrating equitable policies, trauma-informed care, and local food initiatives into our programming, we contribute to healthy, thriving, resilient communities.

This model has been adapted from the Center for Community Resilience.
